Coaching Accomplishments
Coached in the 1995 National Championship Game in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Nebraska.
Coached on two ACC Championship teams (Clemson, 1981 and 1982) and one SEC title team (Florida 1995).
In 1995, Holland played a prominent role in an offense which shattered UF and SEC records. The 1995 Gator offense set SEC records for most points (534) and most touchdowns (73), total yardage per game (534.4) and passing touchdowns (48).
At Clemson coached in three bowl games and was part of the 1981 National Championship team.
Sixteen position players have signed to play in either the NFL, CFL or USFL.
Coached leading receiver in the conference twice at two different schools and the leading rusher once (Wake Forest: Ricky Proehl - 1989, Clemson: Perry Tuttle - 1981, North Carolina: Derrick Fenner - 1986).
